Thursday Morning Nugs: Macau Cash Games, This Week in Poker, Weekly Briefs, Truckin', and NWA Fridays

I've been on a long-form writing kick the last few days, so it's been a while since I shared a few nuggets with you. Here are a couple of noteworthy poker bits to kill some time while at work...
GamingCounsel posted his weekly briefs, which is a quick way to get up to speed with all of the recent political happenings. (Pokerati)

The latest episode of This Week in Poker features Jeff Madsen and the Royal Flush girls. As per usual, the show gets better every week. (Wicked Chops Poker)

Here's the Cliff Notes version of the Macau Nosebleed Cash Games thread that chronicled the juicy action that went down in Macau two weekends ago. (2+2)

And here's a few non-poker items that I penned...
My time in Compton inspired a series about the cultural impact of the gansta rap group N.W.A. In the first installment titled NWA Fridays: Express Yourself, I share some background behind the first ever NWA video to air on MTV. (Coventry)

Oh, and if you didn't know, Willie Nelson got busted for pot and mushrooms near the Texas border over the weekend. Leave it to good old Willie to get himself into some trouble with the law. (Coventry)

My latest screenplay idea: Zookeepers. (Tao of Pauly)

The December issue of Truckin' is out with Christmas themed stories from Johnny Hughes, Mark Verve, Ernest, and Sigge Amdal. My contribution to the holiday issue is titled Christmas Bird, a short story inspired by jazz legends Charlie Parker and Miles Davis. (Truckin')
OK, you know the drill. NGTFOOMO!
